The challenge
Northbridge’s three-person finance team was spending roughly twelve hours every week manually keying supplier invoices into their accounting system. Invoices arrived as PDFs, scans and email attachments in dozens of different layouts. The manual process was slow, introduced typos, and made month-end close a recurring scramble.
What we built
We designed an AI-driven document pipeline that ingests invoices from a shared inbox, extracts the line items, totals, tax and supplier details, then validates them against existing purchase orders before pushing structured data straight into their accounting platform.

The result
Processing time dropped from about twelve hours a week to under ten minutes of review. Data-entry errors effectively disappeared, month-end close got noticeably calmer, and the finance team redirected that recovered day toward supplier negotiations and cash-flow planning.
